Fusion Collegiate’s Skilled Trades Pathway will provide students the opportunity to explore and engage in high quality trades training. Students can explore pathways that include Welding, Pipe Trades, Mechanics and Heavy Equipment, Electrical Trades and Ironworking. Pathway programming has been designed to support student exploration, skill development, certifications and apprenticeships. Students will begin their learning through exploration in our virtual trades lab and with industry training and mentorship.
The Skilled Trades Virtual Lab will support students through hands-on virtual learning. This will allow students to develop confidence and find inspiration through the integration of simulation technology. The lab will equip students with the skills necessary for apprenticeship pathways and better prepare them for transitioning from the classroom setting to their next steps. Partnerships with Olds College, Careers Next Generation, and The Education Partnership Foundation (TEPF) will help them to achieve this.
Whether you choose to study Skilled Trades or a related field, the knowledge, skills and experience you gain will serve as a jump-start into a wide range of career pathways and personal growth opportunities.
