Fusion Partners with SAIT to offer Auto Service Tech, Auto Body Tech, and RV Tech Programming

Fusion Collegiate in Calgary has recently partnered with the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) to provide an exciting opportunity for recently graduated or nearly graduated students. This collaboration aims to offer a unique initiative where eligible individuals, aged 19 or younger before September 2024, can enjoy a tuition-free first year in three specialized programs: Automotive Technician, RV Tech, and Auto Body Technician.

This strategic partnership between Fusion Collegiate and SAIT underscores a commitment to nurturing young talent and addressing the growing demand for skilled professionals in the automotive, recreational vehicle (RV), and auto body industries. By waiving the tuition fees for the first year, the program opens doors for aspiring technicians to receive quality education without the financial burden often associated with pursuing specialized training. Students will also benefit from the support of a high school teacher to help support their first foray into post-secondary learning.

The Automotive Technician program equips students with hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge essential for diagnosing and repairing modern vehicles. The RV Tech program caters to the specific needs of the recreational vehicle industry, and the Auto Body Technician program provides expertise in repairing and refinishing vehicle exteriors.

This initiative not only promotes accessibility to education but also addresses the skills gap in these crucial sectors. As the automotive, RV, and auto body industries evolve with advancements in technology, the demand for skilled professionals continues to rise. Fusion Collegiate and SAIT’s joint effort aims to empower the younger generation by providing them with the necessary tools and expertise to excel in these fields.

Prospective students who meet the eligibility criteria can seize this opportunity to kickstart their careers. As Fusion Collegiate and SAIT join forces, they pave the way for a new generation of skilled technicians who will contribute to the growth and innovation of the automotive, RV, and auto body industries in Calgary and beyond.
