Overview

Introducing the BASIC program, Building Aviation Skills and Insustry Competency. An introductory program exploring aviation careers, pathways, and industry opportunities.

Program Details
Offered by the Alberta Aviation, Aerospace & Defence in partnership with the Alberta Aviation Futures Alliance.

125 hours of Aviation Classroom Training Topics include: Flight Attendant, Customer Service Agent, Drone – remotely piloted aircraft system, Restricted Operator Certificate – aeronautical, Air Traffic Management, Aircraft Maintainance Engineer.
 
Internship Intake – Potential 125-hour paid internship with industry partner.
 
2026 Intake: Following Training (August 7th)

• Customer Service & Passenger Services
• Aviation Administration & Operations Support
• Drone / RPAS Operations Support
